Privacy Policy

CanvasMD Phlebology is operated by AMIDA HEALTH AI PTY LTD. This policy explains how CanvasMD handles information when clinicians use the CanvasMD Phlebology iPad application and related CanvasMD services.

CanvasMD is designed for clinician-led workflows. It may be used to record sensitive health information, clinical notes, images, procedural documentation and related administrative information. Clinicians and clinics remain responsible for using CanvasMD in accordance with their professional, privacy, consent, record-keeping and regulatory obligations.

Information CanvasMD May Handle

Depending on how a clinician or clinic configures and uses CanvasMD, the app may handle:

How Information Is Used

CanvasMD uses information to provide app functionality, including clinical documentation, treatment planning, consent workflows, procedure records, follow-up, document generation, secure storage, configured integrations, support and product improvement.

Storage And Security

CanvasMD is built with privacy and security as core product requirements. The iPad app uses Apple platform protections, Data Protection entitlement support, local access controls and secure storage patterns. Some app data may be stored on the clinician's device unless the clinician or clinic enables external sharing, export, messaging, email, backup or cloud/integration functionality.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Clinicians and clinics should use appropriate device passcodes, account security, access controls, consent processes and local governance when handling clinical information.

Clinical Data, Integrations And Exports

CanvasMD may support optional integrations such as secure messaging, cloud sync, form intake, document export, email and research workflows. These features are controlled by the clinician or clinic. When an integration is enabled, information may be transmitted to the service selected by the clinician or clinic for the purpose of providing that function.

Research And De-Identification

CanvasMD may include research workflows and de-identification tools. De-identification features are intended to support privacy-aware data handling, but clinicians and clinics remain responsible for confirming that any research use, disclosure or export complies with applicable ethics, consent, governance and legal requirements.

App Store Privacy

CanvasMD does not use information for third-party advertising tracking. Data handled by the app is intended for app functionality and clinician-directed clinical workflow use. App Store privacy disclosures may be updated as CanvasMD features and integrations evolve.

Disclosure

CanvasMD may disclose information where directed by the clinician or clinic, where required to provide configured services or support, where required by law, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, security or the integrity of the service.

Access, Correction And Support

Patients should contact their treating clinician or clinic for access to or correction of clinical records created or managed by that clinician or clinic. Clinicians and clinics can contact CanvasMD support for app-related privacy or technical questions.
